Our Volleyball team won the City Championship for the 2016-2017 school year!  Our team showed true Spartan Pride this season and carried themselves with great sportsmanship!

Our field hockey team finished in third place in the City Play-offs.  The team consistently displayed a love of the game during the season.  We enjoyed watching the team develop this season – we can’t wait for next year!

Our Fall Sports Banquet will be held on: 11/16/16.

Southside showed up in great form to compete in the first annual City Fire Fighter Challenge.  Our Boys Relay and Individual Male competitor took second place while our Individual Female brought home a first place win!  It is important to share our team showed true heart as they ran with each other, shook hands with their competitors and represented our school in outstanding form!

Our students had many opportunities to engage in the recent election.  Our 6th graders attended a field trip to St. A’s to engage in “Kids Vote” while our whole school completed a mock election facilitated by our Social Studies teachers.
