Welcome back following February break – We are looking forward
to a strong end to Quarter 3!
I wanted to take a quick moment to provide a few
reminders/updates:
We have
been very fortunate over the past two months, as we have had the addition of
the Celtics Lab and New Flags for our Classrooms! The Boston Celtics in collaboration with
Southern New Hampshire University donated the Celtics Lab. We are incredibly appreciative to have received
the lab for our school! In addition, our
local VFW and American Legion Sweeney Post donated new flags for our classrooms. We had VFW, American Legion Sweeney Post,
PSG, Staff and Admin volunteers on hand this past Saturday to install the new
flags. We are thrilled to have the
generous support from our community partners – Thank You!
Progress
Reports will be coming home on Tuesday 3/13/18. Your student will also
bring home their iReady report. If you have any questions on the reports,
please connect with your student's team, guidance counselor or a member of the
admin team. We are more than happy to assist with any
questions.
Please
remember to send notes with your student if you need to dismiss during the
school day. We use the notes to reduce classroom disruptions during class
times as we can provide dismissal passes to the office. In addition, when
we know of your plans for a dismissal we can expedite the verification of your
visit to the school. We take school safety seriously and use our initial
questions at the front door and ID checks as a means to verify who is entering
our school.
Please
follow the traffic signs posted on Jewett St. We need your help to
provide a safe drop-off and pick-up area for our students.
